Rossler Equation

Like the Lorenz equations the Rossler equations can lead to some very interesting chaotic visualizations. Use the Rossler graph to see more examples of chaos and the Butterfly Effect.

As with the Lorenz equations, the x, y, and z are the state variables. Adjusting the a and c parameters can cause a change in shape of the "horn" of the phase space plot or make the it look completely different. |
This graph is more complex so turning up the speed may be necessary.
Some simple activities are:
Experiment with increasing the a parameter. Try to stay below .7 to limit the number of calculations.
Experiment wtih making c smaller. See what happens as c approaches zero.
